Poppy Balser developed an early connection with the seashore as she studies the sea and its environs through her paintings. Her work painting the fishing industry of the Bay of Fundy, as well as her portrayal of local sailing ships, has earned her a place as a signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists. Luke grew up in Indiana with a love for life, art, and nature that is evident in his nostalgic paintings. Most of Luke’s art education and influence came from training he received from his artist father Harold Buck. Buck’s talents have won him honors, and his work has been exhibited in many major juried and invitational art shows and gallery solo shows.
