By Lindasue Sizuela These are incredible times we’re living in, says anyone who’s watching as the world seems to be closing in. There are so many concerns that the average person cannot adequately reason with the daily problems overwhelmingly pouring in. The most sensible people become stifl ed at just listening to the news, because of what we hear. There is the money crisis and wavering government issues, the imminent homeless problem, rising unemployment rate, the war in Afghanistan, the high cost of medical care, tax increases; then, as if we could tolerate one more agenizing torment, we hear, “Another child is missing,” “A child has been found dead,” or “Youth shot by rival gang member.” What is going on? Those of us that are in a Bible based church (every week) where we study the Word of God know what is going on; and if you’re not informed, you may want to read this article. If you are a believer and you know the word of God, then you know exactly what is happening: End times. The real perpetrator stalking us is invisible to the human eye. You can’t see him but he’s quite real and he’s wreaking havoc in your life, especially to your children and their lives. Our struggle is not against fl esh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, (Eph. 6:12). “No.” You say, “I don’t believe in that stuff.” This is a changing world my friend and in case you haven’t noticed its becoming more evil than ever before because time is running out. Our children are under attack because God loves them very much; in fact, He values them highly. Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him, (Psalm 127:3). Most of us agree that taking God and prayer out of the schools was the worst thing that happened. Even so, when was the last time you prayed over your child? When did you last spend a little one-on-one time with your child talking about the real world and the predators that prey on children? Cont. on page 2

The Danger of National Abandonment Have we as a nation abandoned God, whom upon our currency we say, “IN GOD WE TRUST.” What are the consequences of leaving God out of our national sovereignty? Are we experiencing God’s abandonment of us because we’ve abandoned Him? See full story on page 13
