SERVICESTORIES WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN ACTIVE CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES
VIRGINIA GIRLS AID LOCAL WOMEN IN CRISIS American Heritage Girls helps foster a love for Christ and compassion for others through community service projects. When the young ladies of VA2017 at Blue Ridge Church in Christiansburg, Virginia set out to serve, they became the hands and feet of Christ to victims of domestic violence. In late March, they served the Women’s Resource Center of River Valley by packing 100 care kits for the clients who utilize this vital facility. Whether it be warm socks, a new toothbrush, or a thoughtful word of encouragement, these girls showed that the love of Christ comes in many forms. Compassion and Resourcefulness are just two ways this Troop is living out the AHG Creed in their area! 10 | AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS
