Online Ordering

Affordable pricing.

Online orders do not require the same hours of labour as full consultation orders do, therefore we are able to provide lower pricing options that keep your floral order as affordable as possible. Keep in mind that we will do our very best to recreate your items to be as similar to your inspiration photos as possible, but with online orders, you do hand over the reigns to us by allowing substitutions to be made where needed, while still maintaining your overall colour scheme and style. (This could arise due to some flowers being out of season, more expensive, or just unavailable.)

Stress Free.

While you are required to pay in full at the time of checkout for your online order, the flexibility of this option makes it easy for you to add components to your wedding at any time leading up to your big day

Many couples simply don’t have time to sit down for a consult, which makes placing your order online the easiest option This means that if you want to plan in advance and get your order in months before your big day, then we will hold onto your file until the date approaches OR you can order up to 5 weeks in advance and be confident that we will get the job done!

Full Consultation

Full Consultation orders require many hours of labour in order to provide a consult, put together a quote, revisions, ordering, planning, scheduling and executing (on average about 8 hours) therefore this ordering pathway is reserved for wedding orders that have a floral budget of over $4000.

For those who prefer a more hands-on approach, we offer convenient pickup at our warehouse location 4030 8 St. SE Calgary, Ab. Whether you're an early bird or prefer a mid-morning visit, our doors are open to serve you. Simply let us know what time you would like to pick up (between 8:30 am and 12 pm, Monday to Friday), and our dedicated team will ensure your order is ready for collection. Can I come see a sample at your Warehouse?

Can I preview the items before I pickup?

Our florists are trained to ensure that the flowers are closely designed to match the information you have provided. If we do not feel that it is clear we will get in touch with you. Unfortunately previewing the flowers before delivery or pickup is not something we provide. The reason for this is: we have multiple weddings every weekend and it would simply halt our workflow to accommodate this to everyone. Please read the terms and conditions before placing your order.

Can I call or walk into your warehouse and speak to someone about my order?

Our warehouse location is not open to customer visits. Our wedding designers are specifically scheduled to work when there are wedding items to make. They must stay focused on ensuring that each bridal order gets our full attention while working. We will send you an email with a booking link 5 weeks prior to your event date Via this link, you can schedule a virtual meeting with a member of our Design team to discuss all finalized details of your order We can certainly answer any questions you have over email: events@amborella ca

Can I get a consultation?

You will notice that our Online Ordering pricing is different from other local florists, this is because we have worked so hard to create a website to eliminate the need for consultations The reduced prices are a reflection of the labour that is not required when you order online, consultations being one component of that.

If you feel a consultation prior to finalizing your order is an absolute necessity, 30 and 60 minute consulations are available for purchase via the shop link at amborellawedding.ca.

For all online wedding orders, we will send you an email with a booking link 5 weeks prior to your event date. Via this link, you can schedule a virtual meeting with a member of our Design team to discuss all finalized details of your order. No changes can be made during this meeting due to ordering restrictions.

We do offer full service consultations for floral budgets $4000 and higher, it is available for couples that have custom requirements such floral installations and other on-site designing day of event. To request a consultation please visit amborella.ca/wedding-consultations/.

What flowers will be included?

We mainly source our blooms from a flower auction. By ordering your wedding flowers online with us it means that the flowers used will be mainly seasonal choices made by what’s available. We always reference your inspiration image and colour selection before choosing the blooms and will try our best to include specific flower preferences if the season and availability allows. Flower ordering is done 3-4 weeks in advance of your event date so it is extremely difficult to determine what flowers will be included within your designs. It is because of this ordering timeline that we also are unable to accommodate any changes after your finalized call with our design team.

Is setup included in my order?

Set up is not automatically included in the order and is an additional service that we offer at an extra cost One of the reasons we are able to keep our floral costs low is by providing the option for clients to handle the set up themselves We understand that some customers prefer to personalize their wedding arrangements and have their own vision for the final setup However, if you would like professional set up assistance, we would be more than happy to accommodate your request for an additional fee

What if I am looking for something that is not on your website?

I'm getting married in Winter/Summer, how do

I care for my flowers?

Winter temperatures can be quite cold, so it's important to provide a suitable environment for your flowers Avoid exposing them to extreme temperature fluctuations Keep them away from drafty areas and direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces Optimal room temperature will help your flowers thrive Remember that flowers are comprised of 80%-90% water so any exposure to freezing temperatures can put your flowers at risk of irreparable damage!

During the hot summer months, proper hydration is essential for your flowers. Ensure that the water level in your vases is regularly checked and maintained. To keep them looking their best, request delivery as close to the ceremony or reception as possible. This minimizes exposure to the heat and ensures they stay fresh throughout your special day. Summer heat can be intense, so it's important to keep your flowers in a shaded and cool environment. Avoid direct sunlight and keep them away from air conditioning vents. This will help prevent wilting and extend the lifespan of your blooms.
