BREANA’s
Pick of the month
Now and through August, Betsy Bowen Studio in Grand Marais will be featuring Woodcuts from Uganda, prints that she received from artists and students while traveling to Uganda in 2007-2009. “Talent in Drought,” by Fred Mutebi, is a tribute to rural African women who use their many talents to get by. Mutebi is a master printmaker who has been teaching and creating all his life in Uganda. This special showing has prints by many of Mutebi’s students.
