Newborn Information Packet
Welcome Thank you for your interest in Amber Hamilton Photography! Newborn sessions are a unique experience designed to capture those little precious features that change too quickly.
This guide will help you prepare for your session and answer any questions that you may have.

Preparing for your session KEEP THE BABY AWAKE BEFORE THE SESSION: Keeping baby awake before a session will help the he or she get into a good deep sleep during their newborn session. You may even want to consider giving them a bath about an hour and a half prior to coming. Also, depending on his or her feeding schedule, it is best to wait and feed the baby right when you arrive at the studio. WHAT DO WE BRING? If there are any special items that you would like photographed, please bring them with you. Babies are best photographed naked, so there is no need to bring any clothes. If you are planning on being in some of the photos with your baby, make sure to bring a change of clothes in case of any accidents that the baby may have. Also keep in mind, the studio is kept extremely warm to comfort the baby. You may want to layer your clothing so that you do not get too warm. Please bring a pacifier as a temporary soother for your baby.
After your session Now you can go home, relax and wait to receive your sneak peek of your new bundle of joy(24-48 hours). Your full gallery of digital images will be emailed to you within 3 weeks of your session. If you are ordering a print package, we will speak with you regarding which images you would like to order after viewing your gallery.

Would you like to add on a maternity session? A maternity session is an hour long session at your location of choice. Normal price is $250, but if combined with any newborn package, you will receive $100 off!
