Application techniques.

To make you feel as safe as possible in your purchases of corporate identity clothing from James Harvest Sportswear & Printer Active Wear, we have prepared guidelines or code of conducts for our suppliers. They exist so that we can be assured that our products are manufactured in good working conditions. The codes of conduct contain demands for among other things: • Work environment • Prohibition of child labour • Working hours • Wages • Trade union freedom It is a growing trend for companies, while making decisions on their purchases of corporate clothing, that they concern themselves with the fundamental rights of those who produce the garments their co-workers will wear. We welcome these concerns and feel very comfortable with the measures in place protecting the safety and rights of those who produce our products. We have no hesitancy in saying to you that our products are produced in a safe environment, and should you wish to have more specific information on this please feel free to contact us for a copy of our Code of Conduct.

Screen print The easiest and in many instances the best printing technique, used mainly for T-shirts and sweatshirts. Printing is carried out directly onto the garment. Transfer print Screen-printing is carried out directly onto the garment, while transfer printing is performed using a carrier, which is then ironed onto the garment. Embroidery Embroidery is durable and often perceived as exclusive. Garments are individually embroidered which means that each garment can be customised. Embroidered labels The idea behind this is the same as for embroidery but instead of embroidering directly onto the garment the design is embroidered onto a carrier which is then sewn or ironed onto the garment. Embossing Embossing is a method that punches the print onto the fabric three-dimensionally. The effect is discreet and exclusive. Woven labels If you are ordering many items, a woven label is often cheaper than direct embroidery or an embroidered label. Compared to embroidery, woven labels can produce finer detail and smaller letters. The labels are sewn or ironed onto the garment in the same way as an embroidered label. The life of your clothes is affected by how well you care for them. If garments are washed as indicated, they will last longer. For washing instructions go to: james-harvest.com

Responsibility The environment and ethics have always been important to us, and we carefully monitor the way our suppliers treat their staff and deal with environmental issues. Production and transportation have a huge environmental impact. We seek a close partnership with our suppliers on environmental matters. We demand that suppliers comply with the restrictions in the chemicals guide issued by the Swedish Textile Importersâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; Association and with current EU regulations. Our code of conduct covers areas such as water treatment and the handling of waste and chemicals. Products are tested regularly at our own laboratories in Asia, or at independent testing institutes, to ensure that suppliers comply with our demands. For shipping, we work with the biggest players in the market, all of which have corporate environmental programmes. Assessment of these programmes is an important part of our purchasing process for shipping. We consolidate as many shipments as possible to reduce both costs and environmental impact. We use airfreight sparingly, and only in emergency. Airfreight remains our biggest environmental impact, however, and we are continuing to work on reducing its use. To give you extra confidence when you purchase your corporate wear from Mac One & Jingham, we have drawn up guidelines for our suppliers to ensure that our products are made in good working conditions. They include demands in areas such as the work environment, prohibition of child labour, working hours, pay and trade union freedom. We are delighted that it is becoming increasingly important for our customers to respect the legal requirements of different countries and the views of international organisations on fundamental rights.
