The need to diagnose and test Common Rail injection systems has provided a fresh challenge to both workshops and manufacturers alike. Ever since the launch of the first Delphi-equipped Common Rail vehicle in 2001, Delphi Diesel Aftermarket has placed a great emphasis on providing its network with the tools it requires to service Common Rail systems.
Designed for use in conjunction with the Delphi Common rail tester, this actuator temporarily replaces the vehicles’ actuator to further interrogate the pump. It allows the pump to run up to full operating pressure, and if the pressure is still below the recommended values then it proves there is possibly a problem with the pump itself. Supplied as a kit in a sturdy box, this unit will help isolate diesel pump problems on common rail systems.
• The Sealed Rail Diagnostic Kit has been designed to work on the Common Rail systems of Delphi, Bosch, Siemens and Denso • Two main components within the kit; the sealed rail pump pressure tester and the injector back leakage equipment • Will give an exact reading of the pressure generated by the pump. By comparing this reading with the specified pressure measurement for that application, the technician can make a definitive decision on whether the pump is faulty • The back leakage equipment measures the return flow from each injector to identify any individual injector that is not performing to specification
