We think a lot about collaboration at Alliant, so that we can work most effectively with fellow professionals while providing our mutual clients with the best possible service. The need for coordination is paramount. And no matter the expert—from accountants to business managers, attorneys to wealth advisors, fine art consultants to family office executives—all our partner relationships are informed by a set of core beliefs.
Relationships are sacred We are proud of the decades-spanning relationships we enjoy with many clients, but we are equally gratified by the long associations we have with a large number of professional advisors. These ties stand the test of time not only because of our expertise, but because we respect the bonds our fellow professionals have with their clients. We never lose sight of those connections.
Clients know best Risk mitigation is both art and science, which is why we hope that advisors who refer clients to our practice will also trust us to interact directly with those clients. We understand the gravity of this request but, quite frankly, the chance of an overlooked risk or squandered opportunity is far too great (and too costly) when the details of complex or nuanced subjects are passed secondhand between a client’s advisor and members of our team. That is the only reason we seek to speak directly with potential policyholders. Even for the busiest of clients, these conversations are always worth the time. Of course, our clients’ advisors are welcome to participate in these discussions.

In that spirit, we emphasize clarity and responsiveness in these relationships, ensuring always that our partners are informed about any decisions or work on behalf of their clients. Discretion is a must in our business, but we don’t keep secrets from the professionals with whom we work hand-in-hand. We have thrived for so long largely because of our collaboration with professional advisors of various expertise, and we look forward to continued partnerships.
