POWERFUL INITIATIVES, POSITIVE IMPACT Port Everglades is looking forward to hosting Green Marine this spring and showcasing the sustainable port initiatives we have implemented to protect Florida’s environment. For example, the Port purchased tier 4 Diesel-fueled generator sets to power gantry cranes, reconfigured roads to reduce congestion and idling and used sustainable building materials for renovations.
