SUPPORT - LASTS

SUPPORT - SOLES Allen Edmonds features 25 superbly crafted soles for our distinctive footwear collection. Each sole is designed for a specific need, corresponding to the shoe style.

Part of what makes Allen Edmonds footwear so unique is the wide variety of lasts we use to build our shoes. By selecting shoes manufactured on the last that most resembles the foot’s contours, customers can achieve a superior fit. Goodyear Welted Styles - There are 10 different lasts used to manufacture our current welted footwear, or those styles designated by a four-digit number. The last number is the same as the style’s final digit.
