Year 7 Showcase Evening

To celebrate the European Day of Languages, students took part in various ac vi es including guessing the country from images, loca ng European countries on the map, a general knowledge quiz and guessing the language spoken by various members of the AH staff. Also organised was a Bake Off with students sharing their crea ons all with an EDL theme. The response was amazing with a huge range of cakes that were available to other students to buy a slice of, raising money for charity. Examples can be seen below. Well done and congratula ons to Haru P in Year 7– the winner, to Joseph R (2nd place) and Emilia O (3rd place) for their wonderful cakes! A special men on goes to Poppy H in Year 8 for her 'World' cake with a very though ul quote 'With languages you're home anywhere'. Thank you and well done to everyone, who took part! Mrs Flood
