DR MARCO LOTZ - NEDBANK Marco Lotz is the Sustainability Carbon Specialist within Nedbank’s Enterprise Governance and Compliance Division. He has a BSc and an MSc in engineering from the University of Stellenbosch and a Phd from the University of Pretoria. Among his range of roles at Nedbank are the management, monitoring and reduction of the group’s carbon footprint and contributing to the development of the group’s policies on electricity, climate change, liquid fuels and diverse environmental matters. He also liaises with clients and external parties in the implementation of sustainability projects and acts as a centre of excellence and thought leadership in the climate change and green economy developments spaces

FAITH MKHACWA - NCPC Faith Mkhacwa joined NCPC-SA in 2011 as a member of the Industrial Energy Efficiency Project (IEE Project) team. The successes she achieved in supporting companies through Energy Management System (EnMS) and Energy Systems Optimisation (ESO) resulted in her being given the responsibility of managing the Chemicals, Plastics Fabrication, Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals sector in the broader RECP activities of the Centre. She is also a UNIDO-certified energy expert in EnMS and has co-facilitated or presented a number of EnMS and ESO training courses.

HANNO OLINGER Hanno Olinger is the Manager of Sustainability at Exxaro Resources and is responsible for setting the sustainability strategy of the organisation and for all corporate reporting to the Board and external stakeholders. Hanno holds undergraduate, postgraduate degrees and certificates from WITS, Pretoria and Cambridge Universities.

GARETH GREGGORY Gareth is the Alternative Energy I Energy Modelling and Planning leader (Africa) in the Strategy and Innovation Deloitte Consulting Division, 2014. His business experience covers numerous sectors including FMCG, trade, technology (mCommerce) and energy /utilities. For a significant period Gareth has been directly involved in the establishment, launch and growth of new companies in South Africa. His experience in the Energy & Renewable Energy Sector includes Energy Economics, Policy, Modelling/Planning, Technology, as well as the Geographic and Political aspects of Energy. Innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability are prominent characteristic of Gareth’s value proposition. BCom l BSc Honours

DENISE LUNDALL Denise Lundall is Project Officer (Energy Efficiency) at the South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI). She is responsible for the development of a Cool Surfaces Programme in SA and has been instrumental in establishing the Cool Surfaces Association in South Africa. She is spearheading a number of projects that are designed to limit the consumption of energy, particularly within the residential sector. She has extensive experience in renewable energy as well, having completed her training in Germany.

PETER NEILSON Mr Neilson obtained his National Higher Diploma, Electrical Engineering. In 1991 he was presented with the Government Certificate of Competency for Electrical Engineers. From 1992-2000 Mr Neilson was the Assistant Town Electrical Engineer and Deputy Town Electrical Engineer of the Uitenhage Municipality between 2000-2004. In 2004 he was appointed as Director Projects at the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality. Mr Neilson has addressed delegates and chaired numerous meetings and led a vast amount of workshops.
