Get to know one of our longest serving teacher at Primary Campus, Roslinda Othman!

Tell us a bit about yourself!
I am a mother of four adorable children. I have two girls and two boys. My eldest is Puteri Alissa Dania in Year 9, Puteri Aina Dalilah in Year 7, Muhammad Asyraf Danial in Year 8 and my youngest is Muhammad Arfan Danish in Year 3. I love cooking, arts and crafts, playing Malay traditional instrument (Gamelan) and enjoy Malay traditional dance too.
How long have you taught in Alice Smith?
I started teaching in Alice Smith School in Term 3, 1996.
What would the students be surprised to find out about you?
My students are usually surprised to see me dance and perform Gamelan especially when it is a public performance.
If you won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, what would you do instead?
I would open an orphanage house to help unfortunate children for them to have a better life in future.
If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share?
Don’t give up. Keep on trying...
