Observe: We started our project by observing and analyzing the problems we could have at school. Finding many of them, we made our project about a value that has been missing at this time. So we decided to talk about IMPOLITENESS since Politeness and impoliteness are part of our daily lives. Politeness is a type of social interaction and specific verbal performance. The rules of politeness function as regulatory rules that make the proper behavior of the members of a society. Politeness serves to maintain the unity of the group and this is possible only by maintaining the discipline of each of its members and respect for others. The impolitness is characterized by the deviation of what counts as political or polite in a given context, is inherently problematic and is aimed at destroying the social balance. That's why we believe the rudeness as a serious problem that we must solve.

Define the problem Impoliteness: It is an attitude or way of talking about someone that is rude or inappropriate to others. In almost all cultures It is considered impolite not return the greeting when someone greets. Courtesy it’s about “"What you do not want to happen to you, do not do it yourself either.” But impoliteness it’s the adverse “I don’t care if you like my way to act or not.” I’m not saying you to stop to be yourself; it’s just that you don’t have to be impolite. Examples of impoliteness: Not open the door to someone if you go in front, or if you don’t open the door to an old person, if someone is without a seat (like your teacher, or a girl) give your sit, shout in class, not paying attention when someone talks to you, etc…..

Consequences of impoliteness: not be well received in a place, people lose you respect, lose friends, you can lose your boyfriend or girlfriend‌.

Review Literature. Impoliteness: 1) Defining impoliteness is a real challenge. An important reason for this is that although some verbal behavior is typically impolite, they will not always be impolite - it depends on the situation. To take an extreme example, shouting and using potentially offensive language to an older person living in a quiet cul-de-sac might be taken as extremely impolite, but the same behavior in the midst of a football crowd might not be taken as impolite at all. Impoliteness is very much in the eye of the beholder, that is, the mind's eye. It depends on how you perceive what is said and how it relates to the situation. 2) Impoliteness is a negative attitude towards specific behaviors occurring in specific contexts. It is sustained by expectations, desires and /or beliefs about social organization, including, in particular, how one person's or group's identities are mediated by others in interaction. Situated behaviors are viewed negatively when they conflict with how one expects them to be, how one wants them to be and/or how one thinks they ought to be. Such behaviors always have or are presumed to have emotional consequences for at least one participant, that is, they cause or are presumed to cause offence. Various factors can exacerbate how offensive an impolite behavior is taken to be, including for example whether one understands a behavior to be strongly intentional or not.

Courtesy Courtesy is gentle politeness and courtly manners. The apex of European courtly culture was reached in the Late Middle Ages and the Baroque period (i.e. roughly the four centuries spanning 1300–1700). The oldest courtesy books date to the 13th century, but they become an influential genre in the 16th, the most influential of them being Il Cortegiano (1508), which not only covered basic etiquetteand decorum but also provided models of sophisticated conversation and intellectual skill.[1] The royal courts of Europe did, of course, persist well into the 18th century (and to some limited extent to the present day), but in the 18th century, the notion of courtesy was replaced by that of gallantry, referring to an ideal emphasizing the display of affected sensitivity in direct contrast with the ideals of self-denial and dignified seriousness that were the Baroque norm. During the late medieval and early modern period, the bourgeois class tended to emulate the courtly etiquette of their betters. This changed in the 19th century, after the end of the Napoleonic Wars, with the emergence if a middle class with its own set of bourgeois etiquette, which in turn was mocked in the classist theory of Marxism as petite bourgeoisie. The analogue concept in the court culture of medieval India was known by the Sanskrit term dakṣiṇya, literally meaning "right-handedness", but as in English dexterity having a figurative meaning of "apt, clever, appropriate", glossed as "kindness and consideration expressed in a sophisticated and elegant way"    

Excellence of manners or social conduct; polite behavior. A courteous, respectful, or considerate act or expression. Indulgence, consent, or acquiescence. Favor, help, or generosity.

Observe some more: Already having analyzed and created the problem we wanted to solve began to observe how the impoliteness developed inside and outside the classroom. We could observe how incivility in the classroom practiced talking while the teacher is giving the theme of the day. Also we could observe how was practiced the impoliteness at the recess in the food store since nobody practiced politeness to others. Or as they descended the stairs and passed all pushing each other. They were small samples of impoliteness tell us much about the problem being practiced and that was with a large number of students.

Hypothesis Impoliteness arises by the lack of attention from parents to their children, or for the way they are educated, also television can effects the attitude of people or even all the family already had that way to be.

Choosing a research design: We decide to use the observation method: we decided to use this method that will help us see all measures of impoliteness that students do in school, while it is useful to know what the root of the problem.

Interviews: we decide to use this method because we want to kwon what the students think about the impoliteness.

Analyze the results as a group we analyze that the impoliteness in school is a problem that affects not only the school It also affects our entire culture affects our entire culture, as young we have lost the courtesy , greet, say thank you, etc. and the only way to fix it is education and mutual courtesy .

Conclusion we conclude that rudeness in school is given for the following reasons: -lack of education -lack of kindness -the selfishness and how to correct these reasons summarized in education, as an educated and cultured person progresses, and you can start with little things like hello, give your place to another, respect the place of others, say thank you and please, and be the change not only in IGA, also in Guatemala.
