Bios Anthony D. Paul Global Product Strategy and Foresight – Applied Innovation GE Transportation, a Wabtec Company

Anthony helps his partners design for the future and plan the evolution of their current organization—deconstructing wicked problems, into explorable, creative exercises, to align and motivate multi-disciplinary teams into action. Dayto-day, he is traveling to meet end users and project teams, facilitating discovery researchand co-creation exercises, leading and mentoring creative team members, or MacGuyvering his own prototypes to communicate and evaluate ideas. At the end of the day, Anthony is an expert generalist, armed with an array of survival hacks and a passion for creating sense from ambiguity. He is also a regular international educator and workshop facilitator on topics of future studies, UX research and design, product vision-setting, usability/accessibility, and remote team management.

Bios Brittany Boyer Product Director State Farm

Brittany Boyer has been with State Farm since 2005, where she has closely interacted with customers throughout her entire career. She has spent time in the marketing and innovation areas, leading teams who research and design new products and services for State Farm. She has also worked on many of State arm’s customer-facing digital assets, including statefarm.com. Currently, she’s a Technology Director, leading the digital journey to help customers navigat and self-manage their claim.

Goncalo Veiga Director of Product Experience OutSystems

Goncalo Veiga is the Director of Product Experience for OutSystems, leading teams of designers, researchers and writers dedicated to creating a low code platform that enables any company to easily create compelling digital experiences across touchpoints. After a decade of developing and leading software development teams, he has spent the last 10 years figuring out how to design and, especially, automate amazing application experiences so that they are accessible to all kinds of developers. Throughout his career, Gonรงalo has influenced the user experience of thousands of mobile and web applications across the globe. He lives in sunny Lisbon, Portugal. No relation to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bios Brian Roderman President and Chief Innovation Officer IN2 Innovation

Recognized as 1 of the 50 most notable designers over the last 50 years, Brian Roderman is the President and Chief Innovation Officer of IN2 Innovation, an experience innovation design agency. IN2 Innovation provides a global range of services to organizations of many types, sizes and industries to help them achieve a new level of innovation in their business, from inspiration to integration. IN2 Innovation currently has offices located in Dallas, Austin, Atlanta and Charlotte. Brian is a natural-born designer with an inherent ability to combine artistic vision with complex engineering principles and strategic business goals. He oversees the process and design strategies for IN2 Innovation, along with the operations management for the Dallas office. Brian assures that the creative product of the organization is always on-target and on the leading edge of design, functionality, and desirability.

Dwayn Edwards Director of Mobility IDEO

Dwayne Edwards is a Portfolio Director at IDEO Chicago. He helps clients, teams, and individuals address people’s deepest needs and meet their highest purpose. His curiosity paired with deep optimism empowers teams to navigate complexity and build new human-centered solutions. As a former intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps, Dwayne takes a detailed eye to identify the best mix of resources and conditions to ensure success. He is passionate about the intersection of business, design and technology where he believes creativity lives. Prior to joining IDEO he worked as a product manager at Volvo Cars of North America where he helped develop Volvo’s subscription model and built stronger relationships between retailers and customers. Dwayne holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management. When not trying to creatively problem-solve the future of mobility, you can find him being bossed around by his two young boys, or channeling his inner

Bios Sean Coleman Executive Creative Director Monigle

As Executive Creative Director at Monigle, the largest independently-owned Branding Firm in North America, Sean is responsible for the overall creative vision, and execution of that vision across all manner of Design. Over the last 3 years, Sean took a step back from advertising and the leap forward into branding. Sean and his team of 35 creatives split between offices in Denver and NYC have branded and re-branded global and national Fortune 100 companies. Sean brings 25 years of shaping some of the world’s most iconic brands and consumer experiences for his clients including Coca-Cola, Gillette, MillerCoors, P&G, Pernod Ricard and Burger King with Agencies such as Integer/TBWA, Leo Burnett, Arc Worldwide, Commonground, and Monigle.

Hillel Cooperman

SVP, User Experience and Design Oracle

In his role, Hillel takes care of Oracle’s user experience discipline for our enterprise applications and middleware. I’m fortunate to work with a team of incredibly talented and positive people including designers, researchers, writers, product and program managers, and engineers. In addition, He partners with Jenny Lam, our SVP of User Experience Design in Brand and Marketing to help drive forward the design and user experience philosophy and practice across all of Oracle’s products, services, and experiences.

Bios Jade Salazaar Director, Service Design Rogers Communication Inc.

Jade Salazaar is a customer obsessed professional who is passionate about bringing together people from all disciplines to: challenge the norms, foster new ways of innovation through observation, reflection and action, and to drive positive change. She has built the Design Thinking Practice at Rogers Communications from the ground up and continues to work across the organization to teach, evangelize and lead in the space. Jade is currently working on standing up a Service Design group at Rogers and institutionalizing this way of working. Before her #lifeatrogers, she had lived, worked, and studied in 4 different countries on 3 different continents and today brings over a decade of experiencein the Digital field.!She currently lives in Toronto’s Riverside district with Auggie, her 2-year old

Jarrod Joplin SVP Experience Design Bank of America

Growing up with a mom who was an artist and a dad who was a businessman, Jarrod was predestined to be a designer. Earning formal degrees in psychology and design, for the past two decades, Jarrod has been working professionally as a designer and learning how to design better, products and services by understanding the people for which we design for. Cutting his teeth design, he has embraced the growth journey of the practice of design. A journey where he has had the opportunity to design multi-sensory experiences, brand identity systems, publications, websites, native apps, software, services, product design teams, and human-centered design models for multifunctional design engagement at scale. For the last seven years, Jarrod has been working to scale he human-centered design approach within Fortune 100 companies such as IBM, USAA and now at Bank of America in San Francisco.
