The Bateman Case Study Competition is the Public Relations Student Society of America's premier national case study competition for public relations students and gives them an opportunity to apply classroom education and internship experiences to create and implement a full public relations campaign.
The Oklahoma State University team created a cohesive campaign for the 2019 sponsor, PRSA Foundation. The PRSA Foundation is an independent, 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that is committed to promoting diversity among public relations professionals and companies so that they can best serve the public good and address the needs of a diverse world.
We conducted primary and secondary research to form our campaign with our target audience being college students interested in a career in public relations and college professors that teach public relations courses. The campaign we created included a couple of events, a social media campaign and rebuilding the university's PRSSA chapter.
