Si la olvidamos, la tierra no nos perdonaría. Qué sería de nosotros, quiénes seríamos nosotros si nos volviéramos ingratos con ella y con las montañas. Usted sabe que los antiguos resistieron. Los españoles querían que abandonen sus creencias, les decían que eran malas, hasta diabólicas, pero ellos fueron tercos. A escondidas hacían sus pagos y rituales para la Pachamama y los apus.

Papita sancochada, habas, choclo y queso, también cuy y, claro, el sanco.

También voy a pedir la protección del nevado Bombaya y del apu Hualca Hualca. Ellos nos cuidan siempre y hay que respetarlos, pedirles permiso cuando se camina en sus dominios. Dejar nuestra piedrita en las apachetas.
