Before joining DBL, Alexander Jonathan Brittin garnered valuable experience as an intern at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. His responsibilities ranged from conducting research and analysis, to assisting in campaign and outreach development, and drafting correspondence on various topics.

Brittin's academic journey commenced at the University of Delaware where he received his Bachelor of Arts in political science. This was followed by three years at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he pursued his Juris Doctor (JD) degree. His time at law school was marked by a wellreceived research paper on government contract law and active participation in the immigration law clinic.

Upon receiving his LLM in government procurement law from the George Washington University Law School, Brittin has quickly risen through the ranks in his professional career. An accomplishment that stands out is his upcoming role as a co-lecturer for a government contracts course at the American University Washington College of Law for the academic year 2023-24.
