Since I was a child I have always had two passions, one for drawing, so much so that I filled the room with drawings of super heroes and dinosaurs and one for boats; I still remember sailing trips with my grandfather. I prefer a minimal design, which can create a link between the object and its user. To give a soul to what I project is my greatest satisfaction.Even if it is always possible to improve myself, I am proud of what I was able to achieve and I can not wait to get involved with new challenges.

SUMMARY Here I collected a series of the best projects developed during my three-years degree course, focusing on Industrial and Yacht design. This does not include all my works but only those that I currently think I can exhibit, so this short collection is being updated by day.

EXTERIOR

IDEATION

The main concern of this thesis project was to create something new, unseen, so we decided to work with organic forms, still little used but that could give the yacht that personality we were looking for. For the exterior style line we took inspiration from objects of natural shape and decided the main line. The aim was to be able to use a single form in three different dimensions: external, the deckhouse and interiors to make them communicate with each other.

DECKHOUSE

IDEATION

For the deckhouse we looked for a shape that communicated with the soft line of the boat. We took inspiration from different concepts of organic architectures, then realizing sketches starting from speed-form that remind the concept of the hull, adding the glass parts, essential for the interior with 360 degree views of the sea and the structural ones for the support of the radar.

INTERIOR INSPIRATION

The interior design of the superstructure was designed to be a “Door on The Sea. Those who eat or rest in that area of the boat can enjoy a 360 degree view of everything that surrounds it, thanks to the panoramic windows along the whole length of the deckhouse. Few LEDs provide artificial lighting because two large windows on the top of the structure allow the natural light of the sun or the moon to light up the environment, giving a feeling of immersion in nature

LUMEN LIGHT THE SEA

BRIEF & INSPIRATION

Lumen is a LED lamp in chromed steel that takes inspiration from the mast of sailing ships and combines traditional elements with the most sophisticated lighting systems. Four LEDs provide all the lightning ensuring a cold and pleasant light. A white light around the power button allows you to find it even in the darkest night.

TA I L MORE THAN A GLASS

BRIEF & INSPIRATION

Tail is born from a game of opposition between materials and concepts. Elegant and captivating, this martini cup has the glass covered by the darker material in the mountains, so much so that it does not allow to perceive its three-dimensionality; the Vantablack. The stem in transparent crystal is dug and allows the liquid to shine inside, which takes its form.
