PRACTICAL HOURS

FIRST YEAR STUDENTS OF 2020

Although the first-year students could not complete their 350 practical hours in 2020, they have gained some valuable experience in the industry with an average of 120 hours.

The first years had the opportunity to utilise their industry contacts and build some new contacts in this period to not only gain experience at Shake and Serve and the Lourensford Market but also different venues, event coordinators and bar and staffing companies accross the country. We are excited for them to get back into the swing of things in 2021 when South Africa allows social gatherings again. 4
