Great Southern Art & Craft Trail

the Great Southern Art & Craft Trail is a vibrant tapestry of creativity held across a multitude of venues in the Great Southern.

Travelling between different venues while viewing the diverse works of talented local artists and artisans makes for a unique way to immerse yourself in creativity. The trail is very much an artistic journey — a celebration of community and art’s power to inspire and connect. This event also offers an opportunity to engage with the artists and gain insight into their creative process and inspiration, as many artists open up their studios to visitors and hold demonstrations and talks about their work.

This festival is a joyful celebration of love, equality and the strength of the LGBTQ+ community in Albany and typically kicks off with a hugely popular Drag Opening Party.

Other highlights include a gala dinner, comedy lunch and a Harbour Boat Cruise. There are games and competitions, parades and parties and educational activities for all ages to dive into as you embrace the festival spirit.

And don’t miss the Festival’s Fair Day where pets and families visit the Town Square to browse stalls, watch entertainment, and of course, take part in the annual Dog Show.
