MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN Whenever a question on education is raised, the following quote always comes to my mind: "The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows." The first college of Al-Azhar opened in 2002 with a mission to empower the youth of India through education. I believed that the development of the nation would happen by itself if we can foster the youngsters. Through the years, Al-Azhar has structured an effective and holistic education system that prepares the students to be an effective and efficient workforce and make the best use of the opportunities that the industry sends their way. Addon programs, Competitive exam coaching, MOUs with several reputed companies, etc., have enabled students to excel in their field of interest. With an ideal environment to follow one's interests, life at AlAzhar is worth looking forward to.

PLACEMENT CELL Al-Azhar has a full fledged placement cell that assists the students to get placed in various organisations as soon as they graduate. During their education, students are encouraged to be a part of the placement cell to learn various soft skills that will help in their selection process.
STUDENT HOSTELS Separate hostels are allotted for boys and girls within the campus. The rooms are spacious with good lighting and ventilation. Each of the hostels have well equipped reading rooms, dining areas, TV rooms and indoor games areas.
MULTI-GYM An unmatched experience is provided by the gym and fitness facility within the campus. This facility is made available for both students and faculty. The students may peruse the facility at fixed times as scheduled by the Gym instructor.
LIBRARY Each institution has their own private libraries exclusive for the students and faculty perusal. With its modern collection of print and eresources as well as the availability of full time WiFi, the libraries inside the campus offer a rich learning experience outside of classrooms.

Each fest is organized to be a memorable occasion. With the festival being open to the public, it’s also a platform for all of Kerala to come together, connect and experience the wonders our student community has to offer.

2015 and 2019 MG University Festival Platform
The 2015 and 2019 Mahatma Gandhi University Arts & Cultural Festival took place at Al-Azhar. Students have extensive opportunities to showcase their talent alongside bright young stars from across Central Kerala. The festivities last several days and have been a highlight for everyone involved.
Al-Azhar gives equal importance to Arts festivities, Academics and Sports. 2016 KUHS HEALTH UNIVERSITY ZONE FESTIVAL, 2017 POLYTECHNIC CULTURAL STATE FESTIVAL and other prominent festivals have taken place at Al-Azhar Campus. A great platform to showcase the talents of students, cultural festivities are important for carrying the past into the future. Through reenacting traditional plays, to partying to new age music, students enthusiastically create and foster various arts & crafts from across the world.
