VISITORS TO Florida can now get closer to sea turtles and manatees through nose-to-nose encounters combined with entertainment, with a first-of-its-kind 3D 360-degree domed cinema attraction called TurtleTrek. Guests first visit two extensive habitats, home to gentle manatees, gliding sea turtles and thousands of fish, learning about the threats the animals face, before entering a domed cinema to get a turtle’s eye view of the ocean through a hyper-realistic, 3D 360 degree film. The visual conservation experience allows visitors to learn more about the plight of a sea turtle named Nyah, highlighting the life journey sea turtles take from hatching on a beach and making the mad dash to open waters, to the dangers and hazards they face as they mature and return to the very same beach to lay their own eggs. After the film, guests can participate in an educational family game - Race to the Beach. A three-park ticket offers 14 days unlimited entry to SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Tampa, with prices starting from £87 per person. For advice and tips from the park’s experts, agents can now visit the new interactive Website at www.seaworldparksagents.co.uk which includes an eight-step training module.
