The Logo
Metaphorically, lighthouses represent navigation through life’s challenges and difficult times. Life can sometimes feel like stormy waters as we try to find our footing during challenging situations. Lighthouses symbolize the importance of staying on course, making informed decisions, and finding our way during darkness or uncertainty. They inspire us to rise above tough circumstances, providing security and solace as we face life’s trials.
It is the lighhouse symbol that was chosen to represent the steady guidance of the San Diego based firm.
Founded in 1999, the firm has a strong track record of serving those who serve others. Their client groups focus in the healthcare, utility and government industries.
Logo Construction - Vertical Signature
The lighhouse icon is 40% of the height of the total logo.
The typography is 60% of the overall logo height.
Wealth Group is centered between the bottom curve of the “S” and the edge of the “i”.
Logo Construction - Horizontal Signature
The lighhouse icon is vertically centered between the top of the “S” and the baseline of “Wealth Group”.

Alternate Logo Formats

Full Color Logo
A full-color option of the logo can be used with lighting effects. This is the only exception to the 1-color logo.
This version of the logo is expected to be used on videos with animation.
Small Logo Formats
Lighthouse is positioned visual center of the dome.
Social Platforms
Certain social platforms may require logos or symbols to fit in a symmetrical square or round format. For such uses, the logo symbol may be used as seen below.
Lighthouse is cropped at the top of the dome just below the spire, and at the bottom through the second row of windows.
For horizontal spaces where use of the lighthouse graphic is too small to be readable, a single color, text only, version of the logo should be used.
Incorrect Logo Uses
Do not add additional colors. The logo should be in 1-color only.
Do not represent with colors outside of the color palette.
Do not change the size or proportions of the logo elements in relation to one another.
Do not change color on the second half of the name.
Do not distort the logo. Be sure to hold the “shift” key when resizing to maintain original proportions.
Do not recreate the logo using alternate type faces.

Typography
Optima is the primary font family for the Shorelight Wealth Group. The logo uses both Optima BOLD and Optima Regular fonts.
Secondary font family is Open Sans.
Open Sans can be used when Optima is not available or in combination with the primary font as seen on pages 12-13. Optima Bold
