Kevin Akers is a graphic designer with extensive experience in corporate identity/ logo development, packaging and collateral. His goal is to create imagery with intelligence and convey content with style, a process he calls “Design with Personality.” Having designed upwards of 100 corporate identity systems, he is well-versed in creating and implementing an effective brand.
Kevin is a graduate of California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Applied Art and Design. His twenty-five years of experience in the field includes stints at several Bay Area design and packaging firms. He was senior designer with the international public relations firm of Burson-Marsteller, Kevin established his design studio in 1993.
His interest in the magic of design prompted him to write and produce a book for Chronicle Books titled All Wrapped Up! - Groovy Gift Wrap of the 1960s. The book is a visual survey of more than 400 wrapping paper designs from the swinging sixties.
