When we look back at Pre-Fall 2012, MONDAY MORNINGS was a deadly cocktail of delicate and structured shapes. This season we bring you bright and colourful in a refined and purposeful manner. “We were intrigued with Trompe-l’œil and what it represents. The truth about deception. It is an illusion or visual deception. They may fool the eye for a moment but their effect is more witty and irreverent. Just as how love is always a central theme in our collections, LOVE & LIES depict ‘perception is reality.’ Things are often not what they seem and ultimately, we only see what we want to when we’re ready to see it.” A heady mixture of Oxford cottons in an array of pastel colours, ribbed solid knits and a leisure suit or two - completes the ideal weekday to weekend wardrobe. Mister Wayward believes that menswear
doesn’t have to be different season to season, it should evolve. Miss Wayward’s sartorial style and air of mystery provides a sense of playful indulgence, romance and adventure. Rich and inviting spectrum of jewel coloured dresses reveals ever so slightly, flaunting and concealing. We create garments that make a statement in a subtle way and at the same time give a sense of sophistication and presence. “The best way to lie is to tell the truth, carefully edited truth.”
