Skywing and Happy Bike Lane Suvannabhumi One of the biggest bicycle community in the world Location : Happy Bike Lane Suvannabhumi, Samutprakan Year finish : 2018 Role : lighting designer Area : all; scope : lighting design, system design, construction design

Happy Bike Lane Suvannabhumi at Suvannabhumi Airport Samutprakan is the international bike track for recreation, one of the biggest bike facility in the world. I was the lead lighting designer for all of Happy Bike Lane facilities, of course including Skywing located at the gate of bike track venue. Skywing is the stand out landmark of whole Happy Bike Lane, designed by Taiwanese architect MINIWIZ. Contruction of luminaire takes a lot of courage decision to implement the optimize position to light up whole things. Which limited possibility, taking countless hours of consulting and discussion with stakeholder, finally it is able to shine through everybody that came to ride here, including the King of Thailand himself.

Center of catholic community of Sriracha, stands facing Aou Thai sea. The design is done by me all the way but I did not involve in commissioning and installation phrase. This was done after I had worked on lighting design for almost 2 years at Palicon Lighting Company and this is the most important project back then.

These natural flow lying from top of ASEAN ,Myanmar and Thailand, works as geological function as a source of collective water, distribution an economic function for agriculture and center of exchange through ASEAN. From above reasons, “water” can be said as a culture of ASEAN.

Removal of breakwater By removal of breakwater area around 25,675 sq.meters to generate potential energy of life around 0.13 Mw/year but create more wellness of beach ecology. This method is not create or build something to generate electricity. The point of this is to create more web and base of food chain by letting seaweed grow in after and it will cut of cost of using energy to maintenance a cumulative of sediment on beach estimating 350,000 m3 per year. Also breakwater goal in history of Santa Monica pier is to let a boat park in this area. Later it failed by broken and improved few times. Finally this area is not appropriate to have breakwater. It will clear sea view horizon of Santa Monica to be clean and beach to be clean. The Weaving : Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (Affordable Housing Design Challenge 2018) The bond of community that linking together and covering to be unite in one unit of society which is the worker that try to improve their quality of life, their country. The workers, they are the important force of country, so the housing is going to focus on their unity as a hard worker that wants to have the future. The future that weaving by their home , the place that they will begin to move into greater future of Cambodia.

The choice of architectural appearance is inspired from Cambodian housing family style which is not different from other south east Asian area. The masses of building are to be linked together.

Further from linking, it’s weaving. The weaving concept makes spaces, a lot of spaces. Every areas or cluster of units are the sharing space for community. The spaces are meant to every people in the weaving because of the equable of crossing between the oor. By design in the split or crossing type of buildings, this is the way to mitigate the risk of ooding all of unit in 1st oor, so the 2nd oor and above which is counted around 2000 units (2/3 of all units) will deny the ood risk completely.

HISTORIC COURTYARD HOUSE AND HUTONG Provide more green area and open space from the tracks of court yards.

The site is full of architecture footprint which is not good quality of space. Other concern, the site has no green space at all, Even there is no green space but trees are growing through out the site ,except planting in Guang an Hutong.

The most important thing is the space in courtyard houses that form Xuanxi-Hutong community of urban system. It is the root of Beijinger especially Xuanxi area. The courtyard that was a place for people to meet , to share in communities. The hutong was Designed in direction from West to East that connected all court house together and protected residences from fire and cold wind. The tracks that appear through time but slowly disappear in present day. The tracks that made the swan (Beijing) fly to this day. We should conserve these tracks to let future generation of Beijinger learn the origin of Beijing city culture. In present day, our generation may be the last to live in Hutong. What will happen in the future if no one will come back to live in Hutong anymore because the quality of space that worse than new apartment block or mega buildings around the site. That is the point of this renewal. People will never how good the space of the court house and hutong. So we should let them know and be able to live in old tracks from the past by recreate these tracks of space in the site. Instead of bulldozing everything in area to build new mega block and let Hutong disappear out of traces. We should remove some buildings that was built in area that may used to be the open court yard in the past.

In order to design for the future ,except for understanding the past, we must understand a structure of regional context of Beijing. Green Area Beijing is one of the highest populate city on earth, but not dense as other city.Green area in Beijing does not match with high Population on large scale city like this.The main problem is pollution from air and water,so we need more green surface to catch a toxic.

So proposal will be about big learning center. Be an example to learn from urban activity in hutong and court yards. Program about learning such as library co-working space and museum/gallery will be introduce. And we can also improve school ,religion space.

A reason of site 6 and site 7 is selected because they are on central of the site and should be a gathering place for the site. Except from red circle ,majority of land use is residential.

City that is fun to walk around, transform it to courtyard or mini pocket parks and not build more residences but increase programs for city functions such as community center.

BODY(SUSTAINABLE STRUCTURE DESIGN) ARCHITECTURE STYLE Changing of technology changes a style of architecture. Being more clean and clear, warming space are main atmosphere of design. The important of sustainable design in present day is a criteria for design. Livability of citizen and natural environment are the most important aspect of structure. We should decrease footprint for residences in site but increase open spaces for well being of people, thus land value will increase immensely. We should not follow the demand that is over-limit of quality living. Create more sustainability living. ARCHITECTURE STYLE Changing of technology changes a style of architecture. Pollution such as air pollution may not be easy to solve because problem comes from outside. But we can help by planting more trees ,more plants on surface of city. As least they help catch toxic. And design with open swale will filter grey water to less pollute and may be can collect for draught season.

Start from this Small community center but effective for using, easy to access an clean. Access hierarchy is still conserve from courtyard house. But mainly will be no wall to obstruct the view and access, improving social living of people. So in the future this area will grow to another hutong areas.
