The razzle-dazzle decadence of Chicago arrives in Wimbledon.

Hey team! Welcome back to another showstopping season at New Wimbledon Theatre! This spring is positively bursting with West End hit after West End hit, so there’s never been a better time to come back and visit your local theatre!

May sees the return of On Stage Sessions, where we give you, the audience, a chance to sit on our main stage and watch a unique performance curated specifically for a smaller, more intimate crowd. However, if classic musicals are more your thing, then don’t forget to take a trip to Deadwood for the whip crackin’ musical-comedy, Calamity Jane. Or get ready to either, Time-Warp with the return of cult-classic The Rocky Horror Show, or to shimmy ‘til your garters break with All That Jazz, when Chicago The Musical is back with us this June.

But it’s not all sequins and glitter this spring, we’ve also got Stephen Daldry’s landmark production of J.B Priestley’s seminal play An Inspector Calls, followed by the hilarious stage adaptation of Fawlty Towers –The Play, it’ll be a riot!

If dance is more your cup of tea, then boy, do we have a treat for you! Riverdance 30: The New Generation, will bring its infectious energy to Wimbledon, whilst the glorious and groundbreaking Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake will glide on over to ours this September.

The Gardening Club A New Musical

In the Golden Age of perfect housewives and manicured lawns, five women break through this publicised lie to bring awareness to the dark sides of womanhood.

The Gardening Club is a new pop-rock musical based in 1960 Georgia USA, where five women form a secret drug ring to distribute the birth control pill illegally, using a gardening club as a cover-up. A fiery journalist, a boisterous nurse, a mysteriously troubled girl next door, and the pastor’s daughters join forces to do whatever it takes to help the women of Savannah.

With an explosive soundtrack, The Gardening Club tells an emotional story about self-discovery, sexual taboos, first times, and even harder pills to swallow.

Lauded as the most beautiful woman in the world, her glamour was matched by a genius mind, and her development of spread spectrum technology, that would become the basis of the Bluetooth technology we use today.

Yet despite the adulation, Hedy Lamarr trod a lonely path, withdrawn from friends and family, and plagued by insecurity.

The Ecstasy of Hedy Lamarr tells the story of a woman beyond the reach of the world, yet desperate to find a sense of freedom in normality.

Based on the popularity of a performance and ticket availability, prices can change at any point during the show’s on-sale period. Due to the varying nature of our shows and their set design, we cannot guarantee an unrestricted view from all seats at all times. For the most up-to-date information please check online. ATG+ Membership, group ticket prices and any special offers are subject to availability and can change or be withdrawn at any time. Family tickets are for 4 people with a maximum of 2 adults. ATG+ Membership offers are for a maximum of 4 tickets per card on selected seats, prices and performances. atgtickets.com/membership

Children

No children under 3 will be admitted to the venue except where it is specifically stated at the time of booking that the event is suitable for under 3s. Babes in arms (children under 18 months unless otherwise stated at the time of booking and on the ticket) will only be admitted to performances that are specifically aimed for them (pantomimes and shows permitting under 3s only). Where babes in arms are permitted they shall be admitted free of charge. If any other age restrictions apply for a particular performance this will be stated on the relevant production page of our website. Children (ages 18 months to 15 years inclusive) shall require their own ticket which shall be at full ticket price if no child concessions are available at the time of booking. Children (ages 15 years and under) must be supervised at all times. Supervision of children shall be by no less than 1 adult (aged 18 years or over) per 10 children and the supervising adult must sit next to the child/ren. The Management reserves the right to ask parents / supervisors to remove children if, in the opinion of the Management, they are causing a disturbance. Please note that some productions can be loud, if a member of your party is sensitive to this, we would recommend bringing their preferred noise protection.
