STORM TIPS FROM MADAM REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Encourage members to download two apps that may be helpful with communications during this time:
MarkedMe Safe is a one-touch application to notify friends and family that you are okay. Sorors can enter the basileus name in the app and mark themselves safe after the storm has passed.
WhatsApp lets you send messages, and make voice and video calls from your smartphone over the internet rather than your mobile network for free.
Once you and your family are safe after the storm, call chapter sorors every four to six hours (if you are able) to assess their needs. Let them know if they don’t feel comfortable requesting assistance through the basileus, they can do so through the International Disaster Relief Committee at disasterrelief@aka1908.com.
Tally and report chapter needs to Madam Regional Director at sartmrussell@gmail.com by 5 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 30. She wants to know, by chapter, how many sorors are… -without power, -without running water, -in need of food, or -are displaced from their homes (if you evacuated please make sure new address is given)
