Other Things for Guardians to Note

❖Arriving on time for school gives children time to settle into the classroom and play before diving into structured activities

❖During nap children are not required to sleep but they are expected to stay quiet on their cots to not disturb other children

❖At this age children are expected to not use pacifiers, even at nap. We can work together to wean your child off, if they are currently using one

Welcome to AJ Preschool’s Twos classroom!

This booklet serves as a guide for our twos program. It will outline what milestones and skills your child’s curriculum will be based around.

Do not expect your child to reach every one of these goals by the end of the year. These are just goals they will be working towards and skills you can practice at home.

If you or your child’s teachers have any concerns regarding your child’s development you can reach out to AJ’s interventionist. She will collaborate with professional therapists to get your child the support they need.

Here at AJ Preschool our classrooms are a child-led and play-based. learning environment.
