LICENSED AREA FOR KITESURF / FLYSURF
Authorized period: 1st June – 30th September
Safety rules:
Kitesurfers in the shore area must leave a security distance of 30 meters from each side of the channel
It’s forbidden to launch the kite out of the licensed areas, as well as sailing in the bathing area.
Kitesurfers must leave free a 6 meters distance from the water’s edge, to respect the legal walking zone
Kitesurfers must get into and out of the water through the indicated channel.
Practice at least 200 meters far away from the coast line and avoid crowding the take-off and landing zone.
Kite surfing in the take-off and landing zone is not permitted.
A rider laying in the water and swimming to a lost board or relaunching a kite from the water has the right of way.
When two kitesurfers approach each other in the same direction, the rider riding downwind has the right of way.
While riding, always look in all directions and check that there are no hazards in sight, to make sure you are not endangering anyone.
Kitesurfers must have a liability insurance related to this practice.
Remember you can’t ride at night
