Sister Rosemary, (Rosemary Harrison ‘62) celebrated her Diamond Jubilee (60 years) as a Sister of Mercy. In September 1962, she entered the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy after graduating from John Bapst. Sister Rosemary enjoyed a long and successful career of over 40 years as an elementary school teacher in the parochial schools of the Diocese of Portland.

Today, Sister Rosemary volunteers in the Portland area.

Reginald McManus, MD ‘48 and family members visited the Kathleen Flanagan McManus House (the girls’ dorm) recently, presenting the school with a beautiful portrait of Kathleen Flanagan McManus ‘48.

The artwork will hang in the house, reminding students of the importance of determination, a trait that Kathleen lived by. The portrait was created by Janice Baragwanath.
