The stars appeared at the Athletic Hall of Fame induction luncheon

This year’s Athletic Hall of Fame was quite special, featuring legendary Coach Ken Perrone and his 1965 football team (pictured above) and three individual standout athletes, Nick Caparelli ’62, Bob Bolduc ’67, and Gus Ciano ’66 (pictured left to right). In addition to the inspiring reflection given by Coach Perrone, Nick Caparelli shared a few thoughts, citing that “I learned to persevere at John Bapst,” while Bob Bolduc offered deep appreciation for the distinction of being inducted. Gus Ciano was unable to join in person but was enthusiastically celebrated by his schoolmates. Also in attendance were Jackie Hodgins Caiola ’67 and Fran Hurley Kelly ’66, members of the cheerleading squad that supported the ’65 team.
