Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc

The Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc. was chartered in 1960 to assist the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force™ in its efforts to engage and educate the public on the important role of the USAF. The Museum is a USAF facility funded by the Air Force for normal operations and maintenance costs. The Foundation serves as the single outside source of funding that assists in the development and expansion of the facilities of the Museum. In addition, we provide funds each year to the Museum for special projects, exhibits, and events; exhibit creation and expansion; restoration and conservation of historic aerospace vehicles and artifacts; educational programs; promotional efforts; and volunteer support. The Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
