Leading Car Manufacturer Creates New Electric Offering

The new Partner Tepee Electric will be launched officially at the Geneva International Motor Show in March and will be available to order later in the year.

Peugeot announces new partner Tepee Electric as it looks set to expand its range of electric vehicles with the launch of an electric version of the popular Partner Tepee, the Partner Tepee Electric. Combining the practicality of the Partner Tepee range with the low running costs and environmental credentials of an electric vehicle, the Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric boasts an impressive certified range of over 100 miles. With zero emissions, Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric drivers will be able to drive in regulatedemissions zones and during regulated traffic times, and will also benefit from tax exemption with new VED regulations from 2017. The new Partner Tepee Electric will be launched officially at the Geneva International Motor Show in March and will be available to order later in the year. Connectivity is a key feature of the new Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric. Connected features include air conditioning and battery charging that can be remotely controlled from a smartphone or tablet, while the generous standard specification also includes driving assistance with hill-assist start, cruise control and reversing camera.

The new Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric also provides worry-free maintenance. Its traction battery is under warranty for eight years or 60,000 miles. Building on its predecessor’s already impressive practicality, the Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric offers the option to remove the three seats in the middle row to create a completely flat load area. Luggage capacity remains among the best in its category, meaning transportation of large objects is simple, thanks to 1,350 litres of boot space with five passengers aboard, or 3,000 litres with the rear seats folded.

David Peel, Managing Director at Peugeot UK commented: “The Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric demonstrates our intention to make sustainable mobility accessible to all. “Whether for personal or business use, the Partner Tepee Electric stands out thanks to its blend of practicality and efficiency. The vehicle offers an impressive range and is easy to run and maintain, making it a highly attractive option for those looking to switch to electric.” This new launch showcases the increased popularity of electric vehicles as the industry works to prove the sustainability of cars.

The Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric joins an already comprehensive sustainable mobility offering, which includes Peugeot’s electric-assist bikes, in addition to cars and LCVs.

BMI Healthcare Finds Its Voice To Revamp Customer Service BMI Healthcare has developed its own unique audio brand as part of a push to revamp customer experience. The firm charged audio branding specialist PHMG with creating bespoke voice and music that that taps into the psychological power of sound to reinforce brand values in the minds of customers. These audio productions will form the basis of messages played over the telephone whenever callers are placed on hold. As the UK’s largest independent hospital operator, treating over 1.5million patients a year from 59 centres nationwide, BMI handles a large volume of calls from prospective patients, existing patients and family members. Therefore, the messages are designed to provide calm reassurance and a sense of assured expertise. To achieve this PHMG used a mature, female voice speaking in received pronunciation - a combination of characteristics perceived as soothing and knowledgeable. This was paired with a flowing, electronic track with a subtle sound, minimal percussion and a relaxed overall feel.

the audio messages differs depending on the hospital, allowing callers to receive highly-targeted information. Aside from the improvement to customer experience, BMI has also seen an increase in online traffic as a result of messages directing customers to the website for specific information. “In the healthcare industry, it is absolutely essential to provide customers with the reassurance that they – and their family members – are in safe hands,” said Mark Williamson, Sales and Marketing Director at PHMG. “This means it is important to strike the right tone throughout all contact with customers, including the audio they hear while on the telephone. Too often this element of the marketing mix is neglected but out hearing is one of our most powerful emotional senses, meaning sound is incredibly effective at reinforcing specific values in the minds of customers.”

“Our callers contact us at an emotional and potentially distressing time – and audio branding provides the calming reassurance they need whilst on-hold,” said Matthew Graham-Clare, Head of Regional Marketing (London/South), BMI Healthcare. “Our production is often the first interaction a patient has with our hospital, and this valuable audio interface sets the right tone from the very beginning.” Each of BMI’s hospitals now uses the same, brand-congruent voice and music, ensuring the company presents a consistent image to its customers.
