CONFERENCE REPORT

WHAT IS

? Outgoing Preparation Seminar (OPS) it’s a 2 days event where AIESEC sending entity (Portugal) run spaces to prepare the Exchange Participants for their Global Volunteer and Global Entrepreneur exchanges.

What is

? Global Volunteer is a cross-cultural experience for youth who want to gain personal development and leave an impact on the world.

Why do we provide Global Volunteer experiences?

Our Global Volunteer projects around the world exist because as AIESEC, we choose to shape what we do around what the world needs. We have committed to creating a youth movement to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by the year 2030. This all falls under our Youth 4 Global Goals initiative aimed at activating youth to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

What is

? Global Entrepreneur is an internship experience within a startup where young people can explore, learn and contribute to the entrepreneurial world.

Why do we provide Global Entrepreneur experiences? Too many young people remain disconnected from vital skills and economic opportunities. According to statistics, youth unemployment will hit and average record of 13.2% globally, which is close to 100 million young people. The 2030 global goals cannot be met without significantly increasing investments in young people, creating new demand for labor, as well as preparing young people with the skills they need to compete.

PARTNER FEEDBACK
