project description: this project consisted of the complete renovation of a historic mansion. the mansion & its surrounding buildings were completely restored both inside as well as out. west received the 2010 florida preservation award for this project from the florida trust for historic preservation in recognition of outstanding achievement in the field of restoration and rehabilitation. specialty stonework was used including marble and terrazzo tile. decorative railings, an elevator and a commercial kitchen add to the building’s amenities to make this a great venue for weddings and other social functions.
