COOPER SCHUTZ

Cooper Schutz’s passion for agriculture came from a young age growing up and helping on his family’s farming operation north of Arapahoe, where they grow corn and soybeans. He graduated from Arapahoe Public Schools in 2020 where he was a three-sport athlete and served as president of the ArapahoeHolbrook FFA Chapter. Earning his State FFA Degree in 2020, taught him to learn the importance of record keeping and helped him further his supervised agricultural experience.

Cooper, a junior, is now pursuing a degree in Agribusiness from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He maintains a 4.0 GPA while working for his dad’s farming operation. Cooper was a recipient of the 2020 Ag Valley Co-op Scholarship and the 2021 and 2022 Nebraska Cooperative Council, Michael S. Turner Scholarship. Cooper says, “Don’t be afraid to apply for scholarships. I am very thankful for the Ag Valley Co-op scholarship and Nebraska Cooperative Scholarship; they help make my college tuition affordable.”
