TEACHING ASSISTANTS We wish to appoint two Teaching Assistants who will, depending on day-to-day requirements, provide learning support and mentoring for individuals or groups of pupils, cover for short-term teaching absence, and some administration for academic departments. The successful candidates will be joining a well established and successful team. Applications are invited from individuals with experience of working in a school but those with experience of working in other fields should not be deterred from making an application. Full training will be provided. The posts will be paid initially on Point 12 (with experience and performance related progression). Hours are 8.30 – 3.30 p.m. The posts will commence in September 2011 but there may be an opportunity for the successful candidate to begin earlier if available.
