Sierra Barnes is a self-taught artist, writer, and blogger based in Dallas, Texas. Her creative spirit shines through her colorful abstract and figurative compositions.
Each piece of work she creates is born from an original poem, which she then handwrites on the back of the respective piece. Barnes began her artistic pursuits at the age of 5, after undergoing brain surgery for a craniopharyngioma. As she has grown up as a “brain tumor thriver,” she has honed her style and techniques. I am an artist, writer, blogger, and brain tumor thriver creating in a beautiful world full of chaos. I put my heart and soul into my art.
