Event: U.S. National Team Exhibition Game, Reed Arena, 11/11/07
Last fall, Texas A&M was among eight top collegiate programs selected to play the U.S. Senior National Team in its coast-to-coast college tour in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Aggie defense allowed only 33 first-half points and forced Team USA to commit 21 turnovers before a school-record exhibition crowd of 3,751 at Reed Arena. Prior to tipoff, the Aggie players were presented with their 2007 Big 12 Conference Championship rings by members of the U.S. squad including four-time Olympic Gold medalist Lisa Leslie and WNBA stars Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Swin Cash and Seimone Augustus.
