Née à Montréal et maintenant basée à New York, elle est titulaire d’une maîtrise ès sciences en journalisme de l’Université Columbia et a occupé de nombreux postes de rédaction en chef au fil des ans.

Late 80s, early 90s, Ingrid’s first real job in journalism is for the Presse Canadienne in Montréal, covering serious stories such as the École Polytechnique Massacre of 1989 and the Oka crisis of 1990. “I was not cut for hard news”. Puis, c’est le fabuleux monde de l’édition et de la rédaction en design, décoration et architecture qui s’ouvre à elle ! « J’aime tellement le domaine ! “I loved writing since I was eight years old, and was passionate to learn about the world—anything and everything”. One day, while watching 60 Minutes with her parents, Ingrid learned there was such a thing as journalism, a.k.a. the profession of meeting people, learning things and writing about them. Eurêka ! Ingrid had found her calling.
