‘ As a boater, I am exploring how to displace the architecture of inland waterways in various performative walks with different members of the boating community. These walks are done by carrying mirror sculptures and documenting how different boaters engage with their surroundings. This project presents a new understanding of boaters' living environment and generates a sense of belonging for travelling communities. ‘

After Illusion is an online residency opportunity for artists, writers, and creatives at any stage of their career. Residencies take place twice per month and are two weeks in length. At the end of each residency, a zine is put together about the resident’s work, and published online.
This residency is all about creatives supporting creatives, and is run by an artist. Freedom of expression is the residency’s main focus, with no themes or emphases put in place. Creatives are allowed to take their residency in any direction they so wish.
