Artist Spotlight

Adaeze Orji is a U.S Army Veteran who fearlessly brings West Africa to the western world. She is a first-generation Nigerian born in Atlanta Ga. also the birthplace of mega Afrobeats star Davido. She’s known for her contagious energetic vibes and her Afro Soul music where she shares stories that reflect her transparent life experiences. In December 2018 Adaeze Orji uploaded a rap freestyle to a Meek Mill instrumental titled “Trauma”. She spoke about her challenges and growing up in a Nigerian American household. Taking that first step it unexpectedly opened real-life opportunities for the Nigerian, American-born star. She eventually began her professional music career in 2020 after dropping her Popular Single Heartbroke Sade. Adaeze Orji has since been requested to sing the National anthem for the American WNBA, a Young Jocs-hosted celebrity basketball game, and The Nigerian consulate office in Atlanta Georgia for the inauguration of “Nigerian Art Day Atlanta”. She’s also had the pleasure to open for Nigerian artist Flavour, a person she grew up listening to and respecting his sound. Adaeze recently covered background vocals for one of Nigeria’s biggest artists at the moment, Asake. Her eyes are focused on healing the nation with her international angelic sounds, but with an Afro Beat. Many say her music helps with breakups or helps their anxiety fade. She loves that her music has a positive message such as one of her favorite artists India Arie but on Afrobeats, creating that fusion genre of Afro Neo Soul aka AfroSoul. Adaeze is the Head of Business, at Afrovibes TV & Radio Station, Atlanta.
