Cooking may be a pleasure, but cleaning the oven is a necessity. This is why Ariston ovens offer a number of cleaning programmes, making it so easy you don't have to worry about this task, and you won't need any chemical detergents.
PYROLYTIC CLEANING Ariston ovens have two automatic pyrolytic cycles, to suit the type of stains, needing no chemical products, thanks to the temperature of 470° C that reduces the dirt to ash. The residue ash can then be easily removed using a damp cloth. CATALYTIC CLEANING The self-cleaning system guarantees perfect results with no effort and no detergents. The inside walls of the oven are covered by special panels treated with microporous enamel that, through a catalytic oxidation process, captures the grease evaporated during the cooking process. Diamond Clean is the exclusive technology that uses the strength of steam to clean the oven without requiring detergents. The entire oven has a special coating with cleaning properties, that is activated during the steam clean cycle that reaches a temperature of 90° and lasts just 35 minutes. A solution that guarantees notable energy savings and is environmentally friendly. Thanks to a combination of thermal and mechanical effects, the stains are softened and are transformed so, at the end of the cycle, they can be easily removed using a damp cloth. DYNAMIC CRISP
The microwaves are emitted into the space from two entry points, at different preset times, distributed in every direction and bouncing on the walls. The movement means the microwaves reach every part of the food for more uniform cooking, heating and defrosting, reducing times and energy consumption.
The Crisp plate, thanks to Multiwaves technology and the grill, quickly reaches the most suitable temperature for browning and making the food delicious and crispy, even on the bottom. It is ideal for cooking roasts, pizzas, omelettes and cakes. The grill, ideal for uniformly browning the top part of the food, is three times faster than a traditional grill and it uses less energy.
DYNAMIC STEAM Ariston has also thought about people who love to cook healthy, low-calorie food: simply place the food in the steam pot and select the cooking time. When the water begins to boil, a sensor constantly measures the degree of humidity in the food to allow the delicate steaming process. Thanks to the steam pot, the food loses nothing in consistency and is always cooked to perfection.
FORCED AIR Thanks to the strong fan located in the rear of the microwave, heat is distributed evenly. This delivers the same cooking results at a traditional oven, in less time and saving energy.
DYNAMIC DEFROST This is the ideal system for defrosting food in an instant, almost immediately, thus preserving all the nutrients and preventing microbiological alterations. SILENCE CONTROL Ariston hoods don't just keep the noise down, they give you 4 sound levels to choose from too: with the lightest touch, you can turn the sound down to minimum (as low as 35 dB(A) at minimum speed). Operating and programming your Ariston cooker hood is always easy, whether you choose mechanical switchgear, Soft keys or the back-lit Touch Controls. By leaving the surfaces of the unit entirely uninterrupted, Touch Controls enhance elegance and facilitate cleaning.
COOKER HOODS TO SUIT EVERY KITCHEN. Finding the right cooker hood for your kitchen and your needs is never a problem, because Ariston offers a comprehensive range of filtering and extractor hoods. When choosing your cooker hood, it's important to remember three basic principles for obtaining the best results and getting rid of unwanted smoke and vapour. INSTALLATION OF FILTERING OR EXTRACTOR HOODS The extractor hoods are highly effective and eliminate 100% of odours, but they require a through-hole to the outside atmosphere to expel fumes. Alternatively, by installing a filtering hood, you can capture odours, smoke and vapour, and release purified air back into your kitchen.
The rules for correct fitting of hoods are few and simple:
BOOSTER Selecting the booster function harnesses the full power of the hood and sucks up unwanted smoke and odours in seconds. The timed booster switches off automatically after 5 minutes. LIGHTING Ariston cooker hoods offer warm lighting that illuminates the entire hob evenly, to facilitate food preparation and cooking. LEDs are particularly effective: not only do they light up the entire surface without shadows, they deliver energy savings of up to 90% and last 10 times longer than conventional lamps. FILTER SATURATION INDICATORS Our hoods with electronic controls are equipped with a visual indicator that comes on when you need to wash the grease filters or change the odour filter. Their service-life§ is approximately 160 hours at any speed.

FORMULA FOR CALCULATING COOKER HOOD SUCTION POWER For best performance, cooker hood power must be 10 times the volume of the kitchen. This principle is governed by the formula: (width x length x depth) x 10 air changes per hour = hood suction power.
HOB WIDTH The dimensions of the hood you choose should always be equal to or greater than the dimensions of the hob.

Maintaining your Ariston cooker hood is simple and straightforward: ··you can change the grease filter in a matter of seconds and wash it in the dishwasher; ··the odour filter is quick and easy to change, and you should change it every 160 hours of use, regardless of the speed you run it at; ··making correct use of your cooker hood reduces its noise levels: so to keep things quiet, simply follow a few simple steps, such as switching on the hood at its slowest speed when you start cooking, increasing the speed when steam and smoke intensify, then switching it back to minimum and keeping it running for 5 minutes after you've finished cooking.

ZONE WASH. CONCENTRATING POWER AGAINST THE MOST STUBBORN DIRT. The new intensive washing technology which concentrates its cleaning jets onto the zone with the most obstinate dirt. According to which kinds of ware and which kinds of residue you're dealing with, you choose the zone where you need to direct the combined impact of the Zone Wash system, and pulverise even the worst dirt. Applied to an intensive cycle, the Zone Wash function produces an ultra-intensive wash which is 30% more effective compared to a full-load intensive cycle. With the normal cycle, Zone Wash produces a normal-intensity wash that cuts energy consumption by 25% compared to a normal full-load cycle.
FLEXIPOWER MOTOR The variable pressure motor that calibrates your washing power via a control system which constantly optimises its operation. Higher performance levels are achieved through the use of 8 magnets instead of 6, and this provides more fluid and stable power adjustment during washing phases, even when filters get partially obstructed.
NEW 3-SPRAYER HYDRAULICS The hydraulic system is designed to direct the maximum washing force in any selected zone. Each of the 3 sprayers can be independently controlled, activated singly or in pairs or simultaneously, directed on selected zones with the required pressure from both above and below.
FLEXILOAD. FLEXIBILITY MAKES SPACE FOR EVERYTHING. The Flexiload system offers maximum loading flexibility, fitting tableware for up to 13, 14 or 15 people.
