Each morning before you go to work, look in the mirror and ask yourself, “do I look like one of the top people in my field?” If you do not, go back and change- and keep changing until you look like one of the top people in your company. Dress for the job two levels above your current job. Remember that 90 percent of the impression you make on other people will be determined by your dressing and grooming. Make sure that your first impression and then the second and third impressions- are consistent with the message you want to send.
