AEGEE Yerevan

AEGEE is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe; it is represented by 15.000 students, active in 232 academic cities, in 43 countries all around Europe. Being established in 2010, AEGEE-Yerevan / Yerevan European Students' Forum already has annually more than 100 active members with various educational backgrounds and interests. The main aim and mission of AEGEE-Yerevan are to boost the participation and involvement of the Armenian youth in the European youth initiatives, to give the young people an opportunity to experience various European cultures, as well as to allow the young people to get to know with the best existing practices in the spheres of democracy, active citizenship, European awareness and accordingly try to enroot them in Armenia. In recent years AEGEE-Yerevan has organized more than 60 local youth projects, in which 5000 students and youth workers from Yerevan and other regions of Armenia had a chance to participate.
