CLIMBING WEEEKEND Finale is a small, very pretty coastal town. It’s narrow, cobbled streets and friendly locals provide a real charm. The many beachfront cafes and restaurants make great places to relax and watch the sunset after a day’s rock climbing. There are excellent limestone rock climbs from French 5+ and harder in a fantastic setting. Our rock climbing courses in Finale are a perfect weekend break for the budding sport climber. We focus on single pitch (bolt protected) sport climbing, where climbers of different standards can happily ascend hundreds of crags set in the beautiful Italian Riviera coastline. Sun, sea and rock climbing - the perfect combination!

Our Finale, Hot Rock climbing weekends are best suited for levels of all abilities including: beginner rock climbers; a great location to get started and progress fast, indoor climbers who want to progress to outdoor sport climbing, or sport climbing junkies to push your grade! We advise the following ability and fitness levels to make the most from this course: ABILITY LEVEL: ROCK 1 - You have climbed indoors (top roping or leading) to F5+. You have little or no experience leading outdoors. FITNESS LEVEL: R - General fitness, good power to weight ratio and rock climbing specific fitness will help, but are not crucial due to the venues we visit. Our experienced Rock Guides will make sure you get the most out of the weekend break. They will take you to the best crags with the most appropriate choice of routes, provide technique, performance coaching and teach good safety practices.
MEET: Meet at the hotel on Thursday Evening. Finale Hot Rock Climbing – Typical Itinerary THURSDAY: Arrive at Finale and meet at the hotel in the evening. FRIDAY - SUNDAY: 3 days of rock climbing followed by a relaxing drink and a dip in the Med! We look forward to seeing you soon!

The best seasons to climb in Finale are early spring and late autumn. It gets VERY hot in the summer months and sweaty fingers make the climbing near on impossible.
