A special Mother's Day service led by youth

The church congregation at The Bay Community Church was extra blessed on May 13 as they celebrated Mother’s Day with a special youth service. The young people conducted all elements of the program from praise and worship, operating the audiovisuals, taking the offering and preaching.

Youth representatives spoke from the pulpit about different Scripture verses that related to motherhood, taking the opportunity to explain what the verse meant to them personally. The music was led by local students from high school and university and created an idyllic and beautiful atmosphere for worship. Avondale University student, Nikita Jensen, preached a powerful sermon that reflected on spiritual lessons learned from her journey in becoming a follower of God.
